Cast-in-Place
Cast-in-place hemp installation involves mixing hemp and lime on-site and hand-placing it into formworks, where it is carefully tamped to create a continuous insulation barrier. This 'cast-in-situ' process results in a seamless, monolithic hempcrete wrap that provides excellent insulation and vapor permeability. The technique allows for creative freedom, enabling the construction of contemporary wall lines, arches, vaults, and other architectural shapes with natural materials.
